Stop worrying about large pores! After all, no one will ever stare at your face that closely.
‘Large pores’ are another top-level heartbreaking problem for many people with oily skin. Of course, another problem that follows is blackheads and clogged pores. The more you squeeze them, the wider they get. But if you don’t squeeze them, you can’t stand the annoyance.
The problem of large pores can be caused by many factors, such as the sebaceous glands under the skin secreting too much oil, genetics, or lifestyle habits such as taking very hot or cold showers, and weather conditions.
“In reality, you’re obsessed with your pores,” says Caroline Hirons. Dermatologist and author of the bestselling book Skincare. “The only people who can see your pores in extreme zoom are your ophthalmologist and your significant other. The ophthalmologist is looking at your eyes, not your pores. If your partner is uncomfortable with your large pores, it’s time to rethink the relationship.”
We once went to a clinic to ask a dermatologist about how to treat nose pores and were ready to pay the full amount if it really worked.

The answer we got was, “Laser can help shrink the pores to some extent, but in the end. The tissue of the nose is not like the cheeks. There is no way that the pores will be 100% smooth and gone.” What the doctor recommended was to stop squeezing blackheads (permanently). If you really can’t stand it, use blackhead removal strips instead and do it only once a month.
Finally, what we can and should always do is to focus on thoroughly cleansing the skin. Such as a double cleanse. Using products to help exfoliate the skin starting with a low concentration. Regularly moisturizing the skin. And what is indispensable is drinking water, getting enough rest, and keeping your mind relaxed and stress-free. Because in the end, good overall health always starts from within.
